In 2019, CAFETEX successfully obtained certification in conformity with UTZ Chain of Custody and Coffee and supported more sustainable coffee farming by sourcing UTZ certified coffee. In 2022, has successfully completed the transition process from the UTZ Certified Coffee System to the new Rainforest Alliance 2020 Coffee System, reinforcing its commitment to the three pillars of sustainability, for society, economy and environment.

CAFETEX has been certified since 2008 with the “IFS v.5 International Food Standard”. In 2014 it was certified again with the new version of IFS, “IFS v.6.1” at the highest level and has been certified every year since then. In 2022, CAFETEX successfully completed the transition process to the new version of the IFS v.7 standard.

Responding to high requirements for fully controlling coffee processing and trade activities at all stages, CAFETEX implements a Food Safety Management System according to the ISO 22000:2018 standard.
